The Falconcity of Wonders significantly complements the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Minister of Defence to turn Dubai into one of the leading tourist destinations in the world. Shaped after the Falcon, which is symbolic of UAE's heritage, the Falcon City of Wonders is a unique, purpose-built community project featuring structures based on the wonders of the world, such as the Pyramids, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal, the Great Wall of China, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Light House of Alexandria. The project is spread over an area of four million square metres, and is divided into five overlapped phases, with the first phase expected to begin by the first quarter of 2006.

Falconcity of Wonders, the landmark residential, tourist and recreational development in Dubailand is the first mega project developer to register under the Land Department's new property law 8, which mandates the use of escrow account deposits.
The new property law, established by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is designed to protect the rights of all stakeholders in the real estate market by requiring developers to set up an escrow account at selected banks approved by the Government of Dubai, Land Department.
